Building Project Grants
We have been extremely blessed to have received grants from several organisations;

Benefact Trust

GARFIELD WESTERN FOUNDATION
We are delighted to receive a grant of £100,000 from the Benefact Trust for
our new building project.
Benefact Trust is one of the largest religious charitable trusts who give grants.
As grant funders they provide a variety of grants for churches and Christian
charities offering a range of grants designed to meet most applicant needs.
Whether its funding for building improvements, community impact projects,
or church-specific initiatives, their programmes are tailored to make a
meaningful difference across the UK and Ireland.
Receiving Benefact Trust’s Building Improvement Grant has been an enormous
boost for our building project. Not only did it increase the capital we needed to
help make the project viable, it was also a massive encouragement for our
church and everyone involved in the project. In addition, it helped other
investors to have the confidence to work with us and move the project
forward.
We are extremely grateful for the generosity and support of Benefact Trust in
giving our project a £100,000 grant.
We are very pleased to receive grant support of £30,000 from the Garfield
Weston Foundation (GWF).
GWF is a family founded grant-maker started in 1958 that gives money to
support a wide range of charities across the UK.
Originally from Canada, Garfield Western created the Foundation in order to
give away the Western family’s wealth for the benefit of the nation. Today
they provide over £30 million per year in grant aid and support.
Thanks to this wonderful support of £30,000 we have been able to provide the
capital needed to finance our much needed building project, which will allow
our work and programs within the community to continue, expand, develop
and grow for the benefit of all.
Sunday Worship
Sunday School
Primary aged children are very welcome to join our Sunday School from 11.15 at the church. We share stories from the bible, complete crafts, sing songs and play games.
We have dedicated teachers who are highly motivated to teach the children about Christ from His Word. Lessons are centered on God’s Word and are delivered in an engaging way.
Sunday Services
Whether you’ve been part of the Larne Baptist family for decades, or visiting for the very first time, you are so welcome.
We GATHER each Sunday – 11am and 6.30pm – as we look up to God, in to one another and out to our neighbourhoods and world.
Join us for a time of worship, prayer, and biblical teaching every Sunday.
Youth Fellowship
Engage in fun activities, discussions, and spiritual growth with our youth community.
If you’re Secondary School age (or even a bit older!) and looking for fellowship and fun, then Larne Baptist’s Youth Fellowship is for you!
We want to give practical and spiritual instruction based on biblical truths in a way which young people will find relevant;
