Our Vision
Our vision as a Christian Church is:
“To bring people to faith in Jesus Christ and membership in His local Church, to develop them to maturity in the faith and to equip them for ministry and mission in order to magnify God’s Name.”

Our vision is based upon Christ’s purpose for His church in the world which is found in:

1. The Great Command
Matthew 22:37-39 – “Love the Lord our God with all your heart…and…love your neighbour as yourself.”

We do this

by seeking to worship God in Spirit and Truth

by seeking to please Him and Glorify Him in all that we do.

by striving to maintain the unity and purity of Christ’s Body, the Church.
2. The Great Commission
Matthew 28:19 – “go and make disciples of all nations…”
We do this

by using the resources and opportunities God has given us to reach out with the Gospel into the community where He has placed us

by keeping informed about and maintaining a practical and prayerful involvement in wider Christian mission in the world.
Our Beliefs
We believe in:

One God in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ, both God and man, the only and all sufficient Saviour who is able to save us from sin and bring us to Heaven.

The Holy Spirit who awakens the sinner and indwells, sanctifies and empowers the believer.

The verbal inspiration, total inerrancy, sole sufficiency and final authority of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments.

The fallen, depraved condition and condemnation of all men and the eternal punishment of all who die impenitent.

Justification by grace through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The local Church as a company of baptised believers gathered under the Headship of Christ for worship, fellowship, instruction and evangelism.

The Ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper as those given by Christ to be observed by all believers.

The responsibility of all believers to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives.
